Dear Friends,

We hope that you had a wonderful Pesach, even with the Colorado Low weather systems that bookended the week-long holiday period.

We are very excited to announce a new feature on our campaign website recognizing our fantastic donors to the capital campaign. This new feature is one way we will recognize the important and valuable contributions provided to update and refresh our synagogue to ensure its value for years to come. Click here to be taken to the site to see who has pledged their early support for the refurbishment of our beautiful building, and reinvigoration of our beloved Congregation. We will also thank our donors by name in upcoming local Jewish media in mid-May.

NEW! Our current campaign total is $8,158,701, representing approximately 72 contributions and pledges, which includes $3 million of our own funds approved by the board to be earmarked for the project.

We would like to thank those members who are patiently waiting while our dedicated canvassers continue to make their calls. As was mentioned early on, the campaign will be underway for many months to come. We need your support to ensure that our beautiful building will be available for the spiritual needs, life cycle events, educational programs and social events of our members for decades to come. If you would like to participate and assist by becoming a canvasser or would prefer to make a donation now, please contact our Capital Campaign Manager, Jodi Novak at 204-452-3711 or jodi@szfuture.ca.

We have received an updated critical path for construction — Demolition and hazmat preparations are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 4, 2022.

As always, if you have any comments or questions, please reach out to us at campaign@szfuture.ca

Our next member update is scheduled for the end of May. Until then, keep well, and thank you for your continued interest and support!
